Future of transportation

Aerodynamics and new-shapes for performance improvements, but also new ways of transport such as airplane transport, car transport, and drone transport at low altitude. These are just the beginning of the new era.

Let us start to think the reason behind. Since the beginning of the 19th century the global population was – according to Wikipedia – around 1.6 billion and in a century increased up to 6 billions. If the trend continues then the complex society where we live has to handle the change about the increasing demand of energy, resources (food, water), and also, obviously, let people move around and make them able to connect each other physically.

Abou the transport system we can distinguish two big categories which are:

  1. In-city
  2. Inter-city

For the in-city environment the transportation will make people able to cross the street, as usual, but also take a drone, or a car to move from a place to another. And this is revolutionary because we have not seen anything like this before. But the complexity of the system increase since the introduction of this new services.

Street will remain actually the same in terms of physical infrastructure, with the consequence that the new level of experience will be given by the autopiloted taxi system, controlled by smartphone and that permit people to move very fast and directly from A to B inside the city. The cars of the taxi system will need to be dynamic because they have to modify themselves in case the number of request per area increase. I mean the cars of the taxi system will be able to join together and create a bus as they go, to scale the demand.

For the transport in the air area, instead, this will be divided in several layers, one for different purposes: one for the transport of goods, one other for the people. And as chief officer, reasoning as if we was a company, we need to work cooperating with a standard and such regulations before we need to use that space.

We do not have to remember the importance of the last vehicle for people transport. If we go out from a metropolitan area, we need to reach a place as fast as possible only with a vehicle that need to be portable, light, and motorized by electric engine. Think at skateboard, think at scooter.

For the inter-city environment the systems will be improved a lot by train with levitation system, by hyperloop, by flyer-cars.

Making this point of the situation, we are now conscious that the system for goods transport is very different from the previous. Now the stuff arrive directly at home, or from streets or from sky. And this change the rules.

In the future people, well-trained and precise individuals, will be sent in other planet near us to work with nuclear sperimentation.

Since our planet has been spoiled many times, we understood the importance of keep it clean and free of relevant damage, we have the consciousness of the importance of the earth and we respect it. No more huge project started in several country since the last decade to face new nuclear sperimentations because no new investments can be done for this purpose.

But nuclear power is the most powerful source of energy. So it will be definitely the future of everything, if we think on long-term period (200+ years), while for the moment we remain with the most exciting ecologic and sustainable source of energy: electric.

Strong of this, we will remain focus on building electric vehicles to keep the world safe and directed towards a new era.
